Mrs. April Gomez

In 2001, I began my career in education in Morehouse Parish. In 2003, I joined St. Charles Parish Schools, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grades at Mimosa Park Elementary in Luling for five years. I then served as a math resource teacher for seven years. In 2015, I was appointed Assistant Principal at Allemands Elementary in Des Allemands. In 2019, I became the Assistant Principal at New Sarpy Elementary in Destrehan. In 2024, I started serving as the Administrator of Head Start and returned to New Sarpy Elementary School as Principal in 2025.
